Refunds & Cancellation Policy
Better-learn is a subscription service operated by [Registered legal entity name]. This describes how to cancel and when money is returned.
What you are buying
The Pro plan costs ₹1,999per month per organization and raises that organization's monthly allowance of graded runs and sandbox time. The free plan needs no payment and does not expire.
Cancelling
- Cancel any time from Usage & billing inside the app. No email or phone call is needed.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Pro stays active until then, and the plan does not renew afterwards.
- Where a payment bought a single month rather than a recurring subscription, there is nothing to cancel — it simply ends.
Refunds
- Duplicate or incorrect charges are refunded in full. If you were billed twice for the same organization, or charged after cancelling, tell us and we will return it.
- Service failure — if grading was unavailable for a sustained period within a paid month and we could not resolve it, write to us and we will refund that month in full or in part.
- Change of mind — a subscription cancelled within 7 days of the first payment on an organization, where the allowance is substantially unused, is refunded in full.
- Beyond that, a period already used is not refunded, because the sandbox time it paid for has been consumed. Cancelling stops the next charge.
How to request one
Email [support@yourdomain] from an address associated with the organization, saying which organization and which charge. We aim to respond within 3 working days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through the payment provider, and typically appear within 5–10 working days depending on your bank.
Failed payments
If a renewal fails, Pro lapses at the end of the period already paid for and the organization returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted — classrooms, assignments and past runs remain, and grading resumes at the free allowance.
